Like Fastreel, WeVideo is a video editor online for TikTok and other video projects. WeVideo includes a free trial version, which is limited to five minutes of publishing time per month and one gigabyte of cloud storage. The free version also has a maximum video resolution of 480p, but you can use it to get a feel for the basic functionality of the web app. With that said, you won’t be able to try out features like green screen, slow motion, cropping, titles, or templates without a paid subscription. While most programs have limitations on their free trials, we found this one to be somewhat restricting. It can be difficult to decide if you want to pay for a subscription when you haven’t had the chance to use most of the app’s top features.

With that in mind, users can opt for one of four subscription levels, from $9.99 per month to $73.99 per month. The base subscription (Power) limits users to 30 minutes of published videos per month, 20 gigabytes of storage, and you’re limited to 720p resolution. You do get some access to WeVideo’s templates and motion titles at this level, but some capabilities – like direct uploading to social platforms and create-your-own templates – are absent at this level. If you go up to the next level (Unlimited) at $15.99 per month, you gain the capability to record your webcam and screen simultaneously, but you still cannot upload directly to TikTok. The third tier (Professional) offers these features and brand management features for $39.99 per month. At $73.99 per month, you get all available tools and capabilities, and you can add users to your account for collaboration. If you’re not working with a team, Unlimited is probably the best deal for your TikTok video editing.
