I used to love Archero. Heck, I even spend some money on the milestone packs.

But lately I feel like the developers are going in the wrong direction. The survey was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me.

I’m sure I’ll still play from time to time but the lack of new features / content and the focus on more ways to get my money is killing it.

So that’s why I was wondering, what are some good Archero-like games that are good or even better alternatives.

I’ll add my own entry to this discussion below. But I am also very curious if you found something! Competition is always a good and healthy thing and will hopefully will be a trigger for all Devs to improve their games and not just focus on money, but actual game-play.

My own entry after playing it for a week (give or take 30 minutes each day):

After a spending some time searching myself I’ve discovered BiuBiu Tales (4.4/5 rating).

The game-play seems the better very similar, but there is more overall stuff to do. For example:

• Bosses

• A friend system to share “Energy”

• More ways to improve gear

• Skills

• Some kind of “Guild” system? Where you can gain friendship with the NPC members and gain more boosts and items.

And it has the same as Archero: Gear, Character leveling, pets, AFK income, multiple difficulty levels per stage, etc.
