I love this app! I’ve used it on a bunch of backpacking trips all over the world and it has never let me down. Bugs are far and few in between, there are some but meh. It’s nice knowing I have a solid map in my pocket!

Very nice App, but

Easy to use and appears to be very accurate. I use it to mark locations of trees to preserve on construction sites. One issue however. When I write out a GPX file it seems to forget the decimal point in some of the longitudes. I am able to add them back in with a text editor which is very time consuming. Sure would be nice if it didn’t have to do that.

Great open source project

This is a nicely made app having all the essential features, without annoying ads. I understand it takes time and effort maintaining open source project, but I suggest just a few improvements that I am looking forward to in the future update: 1, able to change date/time format for default file name. The default date format is dd-mmm-yyyy on on my iphone, so all the files are sorted day, it is hard to search through files. 2, better add a conformation window when deleting files, right now it is just too easy to delete file by mistake.

I love it but it needs to be touched a little.

1. Please bring all the buttons down into an Apple Maps like sheet that I could push it down to hide some of that buttons like settings and all the ones that are currently located on the upper right corner, impossible to reach one handed. 2. If you put those buttons into a sheet similar to the Apple Maps app search sheet, make it look a little psychotropic. Actual buttons to press. It’s good to have the all the speed and distance info at the top but the buttons should be easy to reach. That’s a good apps feature. 3. (Brand new feature request) speak the names of the streets as my location enters them. I would love this option. Thanks! ❤️

Great Except for a Fatal Flaw

This app does a lot of things well. However, I want to get GPX tracks for bicycle paths that don’t appear on maps. Unfortunately, this app will “snap” my track to a nearby road running parallel to the bike path. This is not what I want—I just want raw GPS data. I can’t find how to turn this off. So I’ve quit using this app, and download GPX data from Strava’s web site instead.

Great App

This GXP Tracker App works very well. We walk a lot in our city and switch routes a lot and its helpful to see where we have been. Is there a setting that can be changed to measure distance in miles and mph instead of km? If not its still a great app, I just have to do the math. Thanks for providing a great app.

How to delete Open GPX Tracker

Find out how to delete Open GPX Tracker on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

1. Touch and hold the app.
2. Tap Remove App.
3. Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.

If you touch and hold an app from the Home Screen and the apps start to jiggle:

1. Tap the Remove icon in the top left-hand corner of the app.
2. Tap Delete App, then tap Delete to confirm.
3. Tap Done.

How to delete Open GPX Tracker on Android Device

Head to the Google Play Store app on your phone and tap the profile icon. Go to “Manage Apps & Devices”, then select manage. Tap on the app you want to remove and hit uninstall

How to cancel Open GPX Tracker subscription

Open GPX Tracker is a free app and does not offer in-app purchase in the Apple Appstore, you might have purchased a subscription from another company or device. Try these methods to cancel your subscriptions

Cancel a subscription on paypal

1. Log in to your PayPal account at www.paypal.com.
2. Click on the settings tab which is beside the logout option.
3. Press “Payments” from the menu provided to you and click on “Manage Automatic Payments” in the Automatic Payments dashboard.
4. You may see a series of merchant’s agreements you’ve transacted before. Click on Open GPX Tracker to cancel.
5. You will be shown a confirmation page. Click on the “Cancel Automatic Payments” tab to affirm that you want to stop making payments to Juan Manuel Merlos.
6. Then click “Done” on the verification page to complete the unsubscription.

Cancel a subscription on your bank account

On your bank statement, find the charge for the subscription. If your bank statement doesn’t say Apple, apple.com/bill, or something similar, Apple doesn’t provide this subscription to you. To cancel the subscription, contact Juan Manuel Merlos that offers the subscription to you. Statements often list the name of the company, such as Hulu, Pandora, YouTube, Amazon, HBO, etc.

How to Cancel a Subscription on your Android device

1. Open the Google Play Store. If you have multiple Google accounts, be sure you’re signed into the right one.
2. Click menu, then go to “Subscriptions”.
3. Choose the Open GPX Tracker subscription you wish to cancel and tap on the “Cancel Subscription” option.
