UNC football vs. Appalachian State: How to watch, stream Saturday’s game

The North Carolina Tar Heels will travel to enemy territory to take on Appalachian State this Saturday for a big Week 1 showdown between the two teams.

UNC will play at Kidd Brewer Stadium for the first time, with the only other two meetings taking place on North Carolina’s turf. The last meeting was back in 2019 when ASU got the better of UNC, winning 34-31 despite being held to just seven points in the second half.

The kickoff is set for noon, and the stadium is expected to be loud, with  predicted record attendance. To make things more challenging for UNC, the mountaineers have not lost a home game since December 4th, 2020.

The biggest question for UNC is if they can block out the noise and win on the road. North Carolina had not faired well away from Kenan Stadium, especially last season when they failed to muster up a single road victory.

This game is massive for UNC, and it can change the narrative and state that this is not the same team as last season.
